All the smiles!!
Matthew’s mom, a sweet, local real estate agent, reached out to me after seeing one of her client’s cake smash pictures (remember Julia’s Winter One-derland). From the moment I got on the phone with her I knew this was going to be a really special session.
Tara, Matthew’s mom, and I booked our consultation call. This is an important part of the customer experience. We agreed that a clean, simple backdrop with green and blue was going to be the way to go. I got to shopping and creating.
I went with a blue and green balloon garland and added the white 0-N-E boxes for some extra dimension. After securing some fairy lights, the set up was ready! Simple, bright, and festive!
I always offer a few portrait shots prior to the cake smash. Tara brought along this amazingly cute newsboy hat and we kept Matthew in his diaper. Matthew hammed it up for the camera!! His eye contact was ridiculous and his.smile!! OMG!!
Once the cake came out we added a festive birthday boy hat and let him do his thang!!
I mean, how could you not just melt looking at this little guy!
