Last month a real blast from the past took place. A very special friend from way back when came in with her baby boy.
Nicole and I spent much of our 20s together. There were lots of late nights and early mornings, and lots of love and support. In fact, Nicole was part of my wedding party!
When she contacted me about doing her newborn session I may have teared up a bit. Knowing that I could be a part of this milestone for her was really special to me.
Baby Jackson came in ready to put on a show. Dad is a huge Broncos fan so we started with a special little shot with this adorable knit outfit they brought.
We then moved on to a shot I’ve been dreaming about capturing–I had this amazing bear onesie that I haven’t used in a long time. I knew Nicole’s baby shower was bear themed, so I thought this would be a perfect addition to their session. The outfit coupled with this planter I found at a local Marshall’s created this perfect scene. I mean, look at this!
It was pure magic!
We finished with a few wrapped shots and then an impromptu parent shot. I encourage all parents to get in front of the camera!
